Themotorbicycle.com offers a (30 day) warranty from the date of purchase. If the product is delayed (more than 7 business days) due to extenuating circumstances such as the product being on back order, then the warranty begins at the date the item is shipped. This warranty period provides ample opportunity test your product. All motorized bicycle are tested for proper operation before they leave the manufacturing facility. Warranty covers all bicycles that have experienced malfunctions while operating under normal use (see general operating instructions). This policy covers functioning parts of the bicycle only. Generally, Themotorbicycle.com does not accept bicycles to be shipped back for warranty repair. However, parts will be sent out to the customer per our warranty policy. If, in extenuating circumstances, as determined by Themotorbicycle.com customer service, a product is to be shipped back for warranty repairs, the customer must email Themotorbicycle.com customer service and obtain a return authorization (RA) number associated with their warranty claim. Your RA number must be included with the item being serviced or returned. Any products received without an RA number may be refused. The customer is responsible for all packaging and shipping costs associated with any warrantied repairs or services. All warranty requests must be made in writing so that both parties have a clear record of what was requested. This can be done via letter, fax or email. There is a certain amount of mechanical aptitude that is required to own and operate a motorized bicycle due to their nature.
Our warranties do not cover:
Normal wear and tear; damage or failure from abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident; damage from stunt riding, ramp jumping, acrobatics, or similar activities or any activity that is not consistent with the intended use of the failure of bicycle motor engine kit, parts or system. Damages resulting from failure to follow Instructions for Use and Warnings as provided in the Installation Manual for the Motorized Bicycle Engine Kit. Parts that do not directly affect the functioning of the motorized bicycle, ie: fenders, gas tank dings, seat scratches etc. Damages resulting from improper installation or use of any parts or accessories not supplied by to modify bicycle motor engine kit, parts or system.Installation of parts, accessories, or electrical components not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle motor engine kit, parts or system as sold, or any modification of it or its components originally supplied. Purchase or use of bicycle motor engine kit, parts or system outside of Canada and the United States of America. All warranties are void if the bicycle motor engine kit, parts or system is used for any purpose other than the reasonable intended use.
Themotorbicycle.com does not accept returns due to the high cost of assembly and shipping. Refunds will not be given in the event there is a shipping delay for any reason whatsoever unless that period exceeds (30) days. There is, however, a 30 day warranty to ensure customers are provided with a properly working motorized bicycle.
Unless otherwise stated during special shipping promotions, shipping is $50 flat rate to the continental US and is provided through FEDEX Ground and FEDEX Home Delivery. Shipping for Canada, Hawaii and Alaska residents is $100 flat rate. We currently do not ship to California due to stringent CARB regulations. We currently do not sell outside this market. Themotorbicycle.com will honor any warranty claims associated with the shipping process.
